About Counselling

Clients come to counselling for wide ranging reasons.  Some may include

  • Traumatic experiences – whether it’s from the past or a more recent event

  • Difficult emotions – such as sadness, anger, guilt, frustration or low self-esteem

  • Loss – this could be a loved one, a job, your health, financial

  • Mental health issues – helping you to make sense of issues, understand yourself better and recognize unhelpful patterns

  • Relationship issues – saving a relationship or support through separation and divorce

  • Physical health problems – which can often affect mood, stress and anxiety.  Improving mental health can lead to a positive impact on physical health.
