About me

I am a qualified person-centred, humanistic counsellor, supporting adults in my private practice in Lewes. I provide a warm, confidential and safe space for you to explore what has brought you to counselling, building a trusting and supportive relationship where you will not be judged. Through exploration and support together, I believe you have the ability to make the positive changes you need. This will help you to make sense of your concerns and bring clarity to underlying issues, so you can find the path ahead that suits you best.

Alongside my private practice, I work for the NHS at the Sussex Cancer Centre in Brighton, supporting both cancer patients and their families facing the difficulties a diagnosis can bring. I am also a counsellor at Sussex MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Centre in Southwick and at a community low cost counselling service in Newhaven. I previously worked as a bereavement counsellor at St. Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne, not only supporting those linked to the hospice but also in the wider community.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework and attend regular supervision to maintain professional standards. I have full personal liability insurance, am enhanced DBS checked and am committed to building on my experience with regular Continuing Professional Development.
