About me
I am a qualified person-centred, humanistic counsellor, passionate about supporting adults in my private practice in Lewes. I provide a warm, confidential and safe space for you to explore what has brought you to counselling, building a trusting, non-judgemental and supportive relationship. I understand you may be feeling anxious about an initial session or not sure what to expect from counselling. I will make you feel you at ease, listen and understand, helping you to make sense of your concerns, worries or feelings and bring clarity to your path ahead.
I have experience of working with a varied client base and am able to offer you a range of support with issues including
bereavement
trauma
addiction
cancer
abuse
anxiety
depression
loss
relationships
ill health
Alongside my private practice, I support clients at Sussex MS Centre, working with those living with Multiple Sclerosis and other similar long term health conditions such as Fibromyalgia. I have previous experience of working within the NHS at Sussex Cancer Centre with both cancer patients and their families facing the difficulties a diagnosis can bring. In addition, I have worked as a bereavement counsellor at St. Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne and at a community low cost counselling service in Newhaven. I also work for a corporate organisation providing wide-ranging support to clients in both a work related and personal capacity.

As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their ethical framework and attend regular clinical supervision to maintain professional standards. I have full personal liability insurance, am enhanced DBS checked and registered with the ICO. I am committed to building on my experience and therefore undertake regular Continuing Professional Development.
